This mobile camping safari is in spacious dome style tents equipped with camp beds, mattresses, fitted sheets, pillows, pillow cases and sleeping bags. Other equipment used on the safari to increase comfort are: camping basins/wash stands, hot water bucket showers and water based potable toilets.
Vehicles used on these safaris are modified Toyota Landcruisers, which have been customized to offer both height and comfort allowing for maximum game viewing potential. The vehicles have individual bucket seats, open roof and sides (with roll down weatherproof canvas) as well as battery powered refrigerator for beverages. The driver and passenger compartments are connected to allow for good communication between the guide and guests. The guide had radio contact with the tour office in Maun. Only the very best equipment is used to ensure that all guests experience the wilderness close-up without being hindered from the very things that guests come to see.

Day 1 - Nata Sanctuary
Depart Livingstone by road transfer (08h30), border crossing to Botswana where you will meet your guide. Guide will assist with drinks purchase in Kasane and then drive to Nata Sanctuary. Nata Sanctuary is situated on the edge of the Madgadigadi Salt Pans which offers spectacular scenery and various water birds (in season) and makes for a truly unique camping experience. Enjoy a sunset on the pans. (L, D)
Day 2 - Nxai pan national park
After a light breakfast, we break camp and head for Nxai pan National Park. Lunch is taken en route and after a short rest we continue to Nxai pan. Camping for the next two nights is in the Nxai pan national park. Afternoon game drive. The area is known for large herds of Springbok and the water-hole at the heart of the pan allows for some spectacular scenery. (this water-hole is where the National Geographic IMAX documentary "roar" was filmed(B, L, D)
Day 3 - Nxai pan national park
We start with a light breakfast in the early hours of the morning, heading out as it starts to get light. The drive normally lasts until about 10:30 am. Thereafter, brunch is served and everyone takes the opportunity to have a siesta throughout the heat of the day. As the air starts to cool towards late afternoon, we embark on our afternoon game drive. . (B, L, D)
Day 4 - Maun, Tree Lodge
Today we move on to the frontier town of Maun. A short drive takes us to our hotel where there is a pleasant bar and a swimming pool. The afternoon is at leisure. Dinner at guests own expense (B, B)
Day 5 - Xaxanaka, Moremi game reserve
We travel by road to Xakanaxa which forms part of the permanent Delta. The area boasts some of the best game sightings in Botswana. Game viewing is done along the waterways and floodplains. Species such as giraffe, Zebra and wildebeest are but a few that occur here. Overnight in the Xakanaxa area. (B, L, D)
Day 6 - Okavango delta, Moremi game reserve
We explore the crystal clear channels of the Okavango Delta by motor boat with a picnic lunch. Return to the mainland for the evening meal and camping. (B, L, D)
Day 7 - North gate, Moremi game reserve
We take a leisurely drive to our campsite in the hwai area of Moremi Game reserve. This area's diversity of game is astounding and the reserve has been hailed one of the best in the world. Afternoon game drive and overnight camping Moremi (B, L, D)
Day 8 - Moremi Game Reserve
Today is spent on early morning and afternoon game drives. There is of course, that obligatory siesta during the hottest part of the day. (B, L, D)
Day 9 - Savuti, Chobe National Park
Moving through the babe depression, we relocate to Savuti. We camp on the edge of the dry Savuti Channel. Game viewing in the afternoon along the fringes of the dry marsh and surrounding water holes. The area is best known for large populations of Bull Elephants. (B, L, D)
Day 10 - Savuti, Chobe National Park
Again we have the opportunity to spend many hours on morning and afternoon game drives. (B, L, D)
Day 11 - Serondella area, Chobe National Park
We journey north toward the obe River - home to some of the world's largest elephant breeding herds; large numbers of big game such as buffalo, hippo and lion can be seen here. (B, L, D)
Day 12 - Serondella area, Chobe National Park
Morning game drive and optional afternoon boat cruise along the obe River. (B, L, D)
Day 13 - Victoria Falls, Livingstone,Zambia
A short transfer via zungula border-post to Victoria Falls. Afternoon at leisure for optional activities (guests own expense). Overnight Zambezi Waterfront (B, B) VF entry is not included in tour.
Day 14 - Victoria Falls
After breakfast the safari ends. (B)
