3-day, 5-day or 7-day Buffalo Rock Tented Safari

Tucked away within the African bush, in the southern section of the world renowned Kruger National Park, is the our private camping concession, from which we base our Kruger Tented Safari Tour.  This back-to-nature safari allows our clients to get 'closer' to the bush - at night with the sounds of hyena and lion not far from camp, and the night air filled with the buzz of innumerable insects, fireside stories take on an entirely 'other world' experience. Our Kruger Tented Safari is an adventure not to be missed!

No en-suite bathrooms or electricity! Provided are the best possible portable bush showers and toilets plus 5-star "bush cuisine" provided by a back up team of a chef and camp assistants. The exclusive camping area ensures privacy and the safaris are led by qualified THETA & FGASA registered and highly experienced field guides.

So while you are not expected to help in any form of camp life, please bear in mind that this is a camping safari be it a first class safari experience.

Day 1. Kruger National Park.
Clients depart Hazyview by 13h30 in an open safari vehicle. The area we use, offers excellent game viewing - we can expect to see general game, possibly lion and elephant and maybe even an elusive leopard. The Buffalo Rock Tented Safari is situated in an area of unspoiled natural beauty, and is rich in bird and animal life. On arrival, guests are shown to their tent before meeting for sundowners and dinner. We hope to be in for a noise-filled, exciting evening! D

Day 2. Kruger National Park.
An early rise accompanied by tea and coffee, before setting out to explore one of Africa's greatest game reserves. Chances of seeing one or all of the famed ‘Big Five' are excellent, and of course the smaller plains game species and our wonderful African bird-life is prolific. We spend the remainder of the day exploring the reserve before returning to camp for a late afternoon siesta. Dinner is served around our campfire and opportunities exist to view game by spotlight from the camp site. BD

Day 3. Kruger National Park.
Early morning wake up accompanied by tea, coffee and biscuits before proceeding on a morning game drive. After brunch we drive back to Hazyview not without searching for that final memorable game sighting. Back in Hazyview by 12h30. B
